We are devoted to creating a comfortable and cutting-edge method of language learning. We take the foundations of neuroscience, a language curriculum tailored to user interests/purpose, and an immersive language experience filtered through real-world learning scenarios to help users have more impactful learning outcomes. Our mission centers around using the power of VR to improve the accessibility and effectiveness of immersive language learning experiences for ESL students so that they can participate fully in their schoolwork, integrate more seamlessly into social situations, and have an equal playing field for further education, social, and economic opportunity.

Who you are

We are looking for a chief technical officer that is willing to come in on the ground floor. This person will help us create virtual reality and C#/Unity language learning experiences for students in the 6th grade. This position is a cofounder role, and you will be offered substantial equity for your contribution. We plan to launch our product line in March of 2023. You’ll spearhead the development of ten virtual reality experiences, and clean up some of the 2D games we have already built. We have a ton of content created already, and you will put it all together with us while leading our growing technical team. This will be a hands-on development role until we launch the minimum viable product. The ideal candidate for this role is highly skilled in making executive technology decisions on behalf of the organization including managing a technology budget and making the necessary investments to align the organization with its vision for its technological needs. If you are a technology visionary with expertise in technological development and are great at executing a vision, we want to hear from you! Working directly with the CEO, you will act as both a technology and business expert, making decisions impacting current and future operations. We have the vision, curricula developers, a team of 21 people, sources of funding, and customers that want it. We need someone who can combine these elements into a cohesive product.
