Zizmos is building a global seismic network using wireless sensor, mobile, internet, and cloud-connected technologies to monitor earthquake hazards and develop real-time shaking maps. For a fractional cost of traditional seismic networks, Zizmos notifies residents and businesses in high-risk areas of oncoming tremors—in real time.

The Zizmos earthquake early-warning system provides critical advance warning to individuals and institutions including governments, cities, train and rail systems, hospitals, schools, vibration-sensitive industries, power and nuclear plants, and gas/water utility companies, located near earthquake-prone regions.

An affordable and scalable seismic network supports tens of thousands of sensors in metropolitan areas. Zizmos analytics produce high-resolution shaking maps—with resolution down to 100 meters—providing valuable and previously unavailable information for homeowners, city developers, utility and insurance companies.
