About the Founder: Amit Jain was a Managing Director with Sequoia Capital India, leading growth stage investments across India, SEA and MENA - with a focus on Fintech. Prior to Sequoia, Amit was Head of Asia Pacific for Uber - where he led one of the fastest growing regions for the company. Amit has also served as President at Rent.com in Los Angeles and has worked at TPG Capital and McKinsey & Company in San Francisco. Amit has an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science & Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi. While in school, Amit also presented India in 3 International software programming competitions.
