Virtual Philanthropy careers

Virtual Philanthropy understands that donors and nonprofits want the same things at their core: a fair and just society. However, many barriers and silos have been created, mostly in the name of doing good better.

Virtual Philanthropy works with all sides of the social impact sector to foster collaboration, ideation, and innovation to create the systemic change all of us in the space want to see. We facilitate philanthropic convenings that target obstacles to better lateral collaborations. We work with nonprofit and civil society leaders to strengthen what works and address critical needs. And we bring all sides together to identify which silos can be dismantled collectively, and which innovations can be instituted in their place.

We have been a part of or pioneered several major initiatives, including Clarity Fund globally and, most recently, Lancer Education in Canada. From hosting podcasts with donors who want to be more of a resource, to hosting multilateral convenings around topics including climate justice, gender justice, and poverty alleviation, Virtual Philanthropy is the connective tissue between a sector that is often fractured.
