VenoStent is a clinical-stage, venture-backed medical device and tissue engineering company developing bioabsorbable perivascular wraps comprised of novel smart polymers in order to transform outcomes in vascular surgery. Our initial focus is on improving the quality and length of life of chronic kidney disease patients that require triweekly dialysis treatments to sustain life, as the artery-vein connections surgically created in the arm to enable these life-saving dialysis treatments fail over 50% of the time within 12 months.
