VaidyaRx is a digital health platform to streamline the follow-up care of patients by monitoring their medication, side effects, and compliance with prescriptions after they are discharged from the hospital or doctor's office. In India, although we have great doctors and adequate care in the hospitals, once a patient is discharged, there is no system that takes care of their prescription compliance, side effect education, and any follow-up at home. This contributes to 60% of patient re-hospitalization due to adverse reactions, improper use of medications, and poor adherence to prescriptions.
