We are focused on helping vulnerable patients access, adhere, and afford their HIV preventive medications. Currently, there is a drug called PrEP that prevents HIV if taken daily. Our first products are urine tests that allow physicians to monitor patient adherence to PrEP. Our tests have improved PrEP adherence in a Philadelphia clinic to almost twice the national average, which protects patients from HIV infection. The US spends $27 billion on HIV just domestically every year, and 45,000 Americans still get infected annually. We have the tools to eradicate new infections, and UrSure aims to drive those numbers down.
