Urban 3D embeds RFID tags into the precast concrete production process to improve
management and measurability. Concrete artifacts are tagged and traced from the production
facility through transit and onto the job site, allowing for coordination at all
stages by involved stakeholders. Principal benefits include maintaining traceability,
labor and productivity analytics, resource management, and real-time location-based
oversight, leading to seamless integration into the Building Information Management
(BIM) digital profile.
