Commercial real estate tech is blowing up, but the true barrier to entry is that real estate and tech people are on totally different wavelengths. Two of our founders worked as commercial real estate consultants in Chicago, and the third worked as a Google software engineer. We think we have the magic combination of tech chops and real estate relationships to truly change the game. TenantBase began in Nashville, TN at the start of 2014, and we're proud to be opening operations in our second market, Orange County, CA, within the next month. We're at six employees in Nashville currently, primarily real estate roles, and four who work at our Newport Beach office. We plan to grow nationally. LA, San Diego, Denver and Dallas are on the list for new markets in 2016. Demands on our software platform are increasing, and we're psyched to grow our technology team in California!
