• Execute Strategic Collaborations:

Partner with our pharma clients to design, develop, and execute computational research projects leveraging the Tempus platform to advance precision medicine research programs.
Execute scientific activities including scoping net new projects, generating high-quality contracted deliverables, and serve as the key scientific lead in the partnership.
Support exploratory research for target discovery and validation in early phases of drug development.
Support decisions for early-stage assets such as patient and indication selection, biomarker, and combination strategies.
Evaluate clinical trial design by testing assumptions, refining eligibility criteria, and characterizing patient outcomes on standard of care.
Develop novel biomarkers of response signatures.

• Manage the Tempus refunds and post-payment appeals team with a focus on continuous improvement and excellence.
• Develop and implement robust policies and procedures to ensure timely and accurate issuance of refunds where appropriate.

• Lead independent analysis of Tempus data for RWE studies
• Perform extensive coding and derive real-world endpoints, exhibiting deep comprehension of Tempus molecular, clinical data and 3rd party claims data

• Manage a team of RCM Specialists focused on patient insurance verification, missing billing workflows, and clinical document review.
• Monitor and own Internal Billing Operations worklists using reporting and dashboarding tools.

• Design and conduct analysis to improve variant calling, classification and analysis systems.
• Translate insight from model systems into predictors and classifiers of therapeutic response and prognosis in clinical cancer care.

• Monitor worklists for denials, refunds, and appeals in Tempus’ billing system.
• Ensure timely submission and follow-up of appeals.

• Scientific:

Develop and implement scientific strategies for the production and usage of data across different scientific domains including bioinformatics, computational biology, cell-imaging, and cell-modeling
Design multi-modal and dimensional data models which address a wide range of user needs, including Tempus-researchers and biopharma partners
Create user documentation and best practices on data model usage for researchers, publications, algorithm development, and clinical workflow

• Innovation: Drive continual improvement of the Tempus platform by integrating client feedback, staying ahead of research and industry trends, and championing new opportunities.
• Collaboration: Work with Research, Engineering & Data Science teams across Tempus’ expansive data science community to develop and deliver innovative computational solutions.
