• Serving as a medical director for Tempus Oncology Clinical Development
• Self-driven and able to steer Clinical Development plan for new genomic assays and algorithmic diagnostics through the whole lifecycle including clinical validation and clinical utility studies as well as post-market data review across different oncology indications

• Evaluate NGS sequencing results
• Conduct pathology review including IHC for both research and clinical specimens

• Work directly with the internal operations of the Pathology department to lend operational and administrative support to the internal infrastructure.
• Effectively manage capacity and scheduling for Clinical Pathology teams to ensure consistent coverage of multiple testing pipeline functions.

• Work in a collaborative, interdisciplinary team of scientists employing gene-editing approaches to perturb cellular pathways with the aim of identifying therapeutic targets
• Design and execute high-throughput gene-editing, imaging, and protein detection workflows

• Handle human tumor specimens to generate organoids in a BSL2 environment
• Perform routine cell culture procedures and molecular approaches

• Provide primary scientific, technical, and application support for the clinical next-generation sequencing (NGS) laboratory
• Collaborate with the Senior Medical Director and critical laboratory staff to identify and implement quality improvements

• Lead and manage strategic partnerships with high-priority lab partners, overseeing all aspects of relationship management and growth initiatives.
• Develop and foster strong relationships with key stakeholders at partner lab organizations, including C-level executives, ensuring alignment with Tempus’ strategic objectives.

• Design, develop, and execute multi-modal computational biology and/or immunology research projects of high complexity.
• Support exploratory research, development and validation studies for molecular subtype characterization, target discovery, and predictive algorithms.

• Meet/exceed revenue goals for TIME product line while delivering on established strategic objectives for specific client accounts
• Determine where Tempus clinical trial offerings are best positioned to support clients’ R&D objectives; negotiate with accounts to drive projects forward

• Work with the Clinical Account Executive CAE on plans for gaining and retaining new and existing clients.
• Collaborate and coordinate with all sales positions (VP, Sales, RSD’s, DSM’s, SAM’s, and GL’s) to ensure successful attainment of company goals and objectives

• Primary point of contact for research teams/care teams for all matters related to TIME trial activities.

Maintain a regular cadence of touch points (in person, virtual, emailing value adds) with targeted accounts (ie 2x per month per site)
Build relationships with key client stakeholders
Draft and execute strategic operational plans, to ensure TIME sites can meet JIT standards.
Oversight of all processes included in the above operational plan
Provide ongoing education to create awareness of access to a portfolio of clinical trials.

Participate in research steering committees (where applicable)

• You've got software development experience in both frontend and backend technologies.
• You're familiar with some of the technologies we use, such as: Node.js, React.js, Angular.js, Java, Python, MySQL, Postgres, REST, and GraphQL.

• Experience designing and implementing scalable, highly available, cloud based applications that sit atop terabytes or petabytes of data.
• CloudOps chops as it relates to application development: writing infrastructure as code, cloud access management, and networking
