Solu careers

Guided by timeless Jewish values and housed in the orthodox community, Solu provides opportunities for Jews of all backgrounds to do meaningful, impactful work in the world through service opportunities coupled with Torah learning. Examples of activities include: partnering with African American churches to address racism and gun violence on the South Side of Chicago, supporting Rohingya refugees in learning English as a second language, making cholent and bringing it to the homeless in the cold winter streets, and more.

Through these hands-on experiences, Solu aims to build bridges across a diverse Chicago, teach our values to the next generation, and change the world. While the focus is on service and doing, each activity also includes time for reflection and learning in order to further strengthen the connection between the impact of our activities and our daily lives.
