Hospitality / Operations Lead – Premium Homes | Shepherds About the Role Shepherds is building a new kind of stay—homes that are clean, calm, well-run, and guest-ready like the best hotels. As our Hospitality & Operations Lead, you’ll own the full ground experience: managing resets, people, food coordination, and the daily systems that make every check-in feel perfect. From handling linen folds and smart lighting to ensuring the kitchen is stocked and food orders are prepped— you'll bring together hospitality, aesthetics, and operational clarity. Your Responsibilities * Run daily resets across premium homes: cleaning, linen, scent, lights, silence * Supervise staff: housekeepers, cooks, vendors (daily task control + checklists) * Handle F\&B coordination: meal planning, cook scheduling, automation of daily orders, ensuring food hygiene and presentation * Enforce SOPs: 5-step clean-check-reset system * Manage inventory: toiletries, consumables, linen, groceries * Document everything: daily logs, expenses, WhatsApp photo updates * Own the final walkthrough before every check-in * Handle last-minute escalations, maintenance, restocks * Travel between properties (bike preferred; allowance provided) --- What You Bring * 2+ years in hotel, Airbnb, or hospitality operations * Strong team leadership across blue-collar staff * Empathy + accountability: firm but fair * Detail-oriented: pillows aligned, food hot, lights warm * Good with tech: WhatsApp, Google Sheets, order apps * Fluent in Hindi + basic English (Kannada is a plus) * Bangalore-based | Mobile & responsive --- What We Value * Responsibility – You lead the space like it’s your own * Empathy– You balance firmness with care * Conscientiousness– You do the job right, not just fast * Integrity– You fix the unseen * Service First – You anticipate, not just react * Aesthetic Sensibility – You feel when a room is “off” - Compensation & Growth * Competitive pay + 35–40% variable bonus (based on operations
