You will represent Roadster in the marketplace and be vital to not only our success, but also our partners’. The Dealer Success Manager is responsible for product training, relaying best practices, and assisting with process change management as needed in order to ensure dealer success with Roadster’s Express Storefront. In addition, the Dealer Success Manager will participate in the development and continuous improvement of our training curriculum, as well as delivering observed feedback to the Roadster organization for product improvement, material clarification, onboarding, etc. Roadster Dealer Success Managers are on the front line of our company and we expect them to be an active participant in our evolution!
Measures of success for this role
* Dealer satisfaction as measured through Net Promoter Score (NPS) and other surveys
* Car buyer satisfaction as measured through NPS and other surveys
* Efficiency of sales staff at partner dealers as measured by sales and conversion
* Tool usage over time by trained dealer personnel
* Dealer partner retention
Roles and responsibilities
* Train customers on how to use Roadster software and administrator portal
* Regular cadence of dealership partner visits (80% travel)
* Deliver basic to advanced level training (internal and external) during in-person sessions as well as regular in-person and remote follow up
* Provide refresher and new feature/functionality training to dealership personnel
* Present best practices and establish repeatable processes compatible with dealership selling strategies
* Provide process change recommendations to dealers to allow them to fully take advantage of their Express Storefront
* Gather and distill feedback to drive product improvements and recommend product enhancements
* Present reports and analyses of dealership performance, relative to previous months and other dealerships
* Assist in the development of training curricula and content updates
* Maintain industry, product, and competitor expertise
Minimum qualifications
* Thorough knowledge of automotive retail transactions, including financing, leasing, service and protection plan offerings, and trade-in valuations
* Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and organizational skills
* Ability to develop business relationships with dealer principals and decision makers
* Comfortable utilizing online tools, CRMs, and other software as a service (SaaS) products
* Strong problem solving skills and ability to objectively manage conflicting priorities
* Ability to multitask in a frenetic environment without getting stressed out
* High level of accountability and ability to effectively prioritize tasks
* Process driven but flexible enough to adapt processes as required by clients
* Strong public speaking and presentation skills
* Ability to travel 80% - regional and national
Preferred qualifications
* 3+ years of dealership relationship & training experience
* Strong understanding of dealership technology systems (eLeads, DealerSocket, DealerTrack, vAuto, Reynolds & Reynolds, CDK, etc)
* Startup/early stage company experience
* Strong relationship management skills, understanding that it’s not always about the correct answer, but how you deliver the answer
