Re-able careers

Re-able seeks to provide stroke survivors with accessible and affordable technology to help maximize recovery. Our first product, The Move, is designed to maximize upper arm recovery. Through a wearable activity tracker and app, we offer features like exercise and medication scheduling, inactivity alarms (to remind the user to use their affected limb) and activity feedback. The research shows that increased quantity of activity is correlated with greater recovery; The Move presents survivors with quantifiable metrics to motivate arm activity. Gaining feedback on metrics like range of motion, activity intensity and therapy program compliance is useful for caregivers and therapists as it allows them to make informed decisions regarding the optimal course of recovery. Anonymized relevant recovery data is also shared with researchers for them to get a better idea of how daily activity influences recovery metrics.
