Culture and benefits at Quarrio
Culture overview
Operating Principles Group vs. Individual — A team is stronger, faster, smarter and more innovative than a group of individuals. Therefore, we work to enhance communication and training of the team, which also improves the position of each individual. We’ve made it easier for both individuals and the team by creating a Personal User Manual. Leadership is Service — A leader exists to provide support and guidance to their team, publicly acknowledge their achievements and cede praise and awards to them. A successful leader is one who makes the team successful, including ensuring that the team is emotionally supported when things are difficult. Stewardship vs. Management — Management is defined as the act of handling, directing and controlling the affairs of a business, institution, etc. and often describes executive ability. Stewardship describes the position and duties of a steward, a person who acts as the surrogate of others, especially by managing property, financial affairs, an estate, etc. It includes the responsible overseeing and protection of something considered worth caring for and preserving. At Quarrio we work to be stewards of our teams at all levels. We also aspire to be stewards of our families, our societies, and of the Earth.
