10 million patients with kidney failure die every year with no access to dialysis. Qidni Labs wants to make dialysis super accessible, and cost-effective and remove the need to have dialysis clinics. Qidni's portable dialysis technology is almost waterless, works on rechargeable batteries, and can be remotely monitored. The technology has been validated in fully nephrectomized sheep over the long term. We plan to start our first clinical studies in Q1-2022. The technology is backed by over 15 submitted and granted patents. The company has received multiple international awards for its technology.
