PoweredByPlant is an upcoming vegan and sustainable beauty retail, focused on non-toxic ingredients and inclusive beauty. We are looking to solve the issue of greenwashing, widely rampant in the beauty industry by hyper curating brands that are 100% vegan, cruelty free, meet our sustainability standards and conform to our Naughty List of ingredients. We are currently working on a personalized seasonal subscription box to get our conscious community to try sustainable beauty, without compromising efficacy of products on their skin. Our Mission: To assist you with your daily skincare needs by personalizing beauty based on your skin concerns, type and tone. Our Vision: To become the beauty platform that serves to exclude all forms of cruelty while providing the best care for your skin concerns with over 100 products – and counting. Sourcing for products that match our values Products have to be 100% Vegan, Cruelty Free, adhere to our Naughty List and must be from brands initiating genuine sustainability efforts (packaging, refills, ingredients.) We also ensure efficacy of products be getting constant feedback from our community. 2. Having trusted conversations with brands We choose brands that are transparent about their sourcing methods. We look at certifications (below is a list of certifications that we consider) but don’t adopt a hard and fast rule – there are significant hurdles to attaining these certifications for small businesses. 3. Approval of products to be on our platform We promise to deliver nothing but transparency to our customers.
