PICS Therapeutics careers

Our heart assist devices are designed for implantation distant from the heart, with less invasive procedures, in earlier stages of the disease. They are called Mechanical Circulatory Support Devices (MCSDs) because they provide true assist function to the native heart. They have several technological advantages over VADs, and address a different segment of the market: one MCSD called PICS (Percutaneously Implantable Cardiovascular Support) for patients in early stage III CHF; and another MCSD for late stage III or early stage IV CHF. After about a decade of R&D and MCSD design in University laboratories, PICS Therapeutics has raised the required funding to take this exciting and new generation technology to commercialization. We are looking to expand our team by hiring several key individuals in the London area.
