Phenomic AI Inc. is an early-stage venture developing artificial intelligence (AI) for pre-clinical phenotypic drug discovery. Phenomic AI was founded by Oren Kraus (University of Toronto/Vector institute) and Sam Cooper (Imperial College London/Institute of Cancer Research U.K.) following their PhDs that focused on using deep learning for analysing microscopy imaging data and chemical structures. Phenomic AI is developing a set of tools for analysing imaging and chemical data, that it aims to develop into a commercial platform for accelerating discovery pipelines in the pharmaceutical and biotech industry. Currently a true garage based start-up, we're now looking to grow into a well formed team of world-class machine learning researchers and software engineers.
