We are bringing a new concept to a stuck industry. We are a hedge fund that focuses on helping commercial clients hedge their commodity usage or production. Why? Because we have seen institutions rip off these clients for years and commodity prices (in agriculture) are at multi-year lows...what does that mean? It means the American farmer is spending more money running his farm while cash margins are compressing as the price of his or her grains is dwindling. What can be done about this? That is where we come in. We manage their price exposure in the markets. We trade options and OTC to make our clients money. Why work here? At the moment we all work remotely. You would be working with one VP in San Francisco with opportunity to work remotely whenever you need. We do not yet buy your lunch. We do not have a ping pong table in the common area. We are new. We travel a lot to get clients. We don't mind mid day workouts or working from Tahoe to catch a storm. But we are a team and we all wear a lot of hats. Time management, willingness to learn, and ability to handle many projects is imperative.
