So let's break it down.

While a lot of our clients are grain cooperatives in the Midwest and they are the ones that really need our portfolio management, we will explain the product in an easier example:

Take a candy company. A candy company buys tons of sugar to produce its product. But sugar is an exchange traded product and faces price fluctuations. The price of sugar is spiking and getting very expensive to produce the candy. While they still need to buy the sugar at certain prices, the company can hedge the price through futures and options trades. But they are not sure how to do this and make money. That is where we come in. We manage a portfolio of trades for for our clients so that their price exposure is protected and cash margins improve.
