The nfant® Feeding Solution (nFS) is the first IoT product ever cleared by the FDA for use on newborns. At the core of the solution is a smart baby bottle that leverages feeding, the most complex skill an infant performs, to noninvasively gain insight on the child’s feeding ability, growth trajectory and development. The connected device displays in real-time a baby's feeding coordination ability. Data is then relayed to the nfant® cloud analytics platform where proprietary algorithms create feeding metrics to track progress and predict outcomes. nFS utilization at leading academic medical centers and pediatric hospitals has documented the impact of the system in reducing the transition to independent feeding, time to discharge and propensity for readmission.

Clinical trial results at top institutions further indicate that nFS can be used to screen every child at birth, classify a baby’s feeding pattern, and leverage a proprietary dataset to predict, prevent or advance treatment for three major healthcare problems facing children and their families: Early childhood obesity, poor feeding ability, and underlying neurodevelopment and movement disorders.
