• Zendesk Administration:

Manage our Zendesk implementation - both intraday maintenance and supporting Zendesk through strategic business growth
Work alongside our existing team of Systems Admins to ensure our Zendesk ecosystem remains cohesive, consistent, and well-coordinated as our footprint grows
Develop and maintain an internal comprehensive knowledge base for our Zendesk configuration & procedures
Generate, analyze, and report on Zendesk metrics to guide improvements in customer service strategies
Regularly audit for gaps & efficiencies, lead projects to improve or expand our setup based on findings

• Build and operate the real-time inference service that scores models for the risk decision engine, with low latency and high availability as first-class requirements
• Own model deployment infrastructure: registry and versioning, CI/CD with performance, bias, and consistency checks, shadow mode, and staged rollouts

• Embed with product teams, helping them improve their operational maturity by setting up and refining practices around on-call, monitoring, alerting, and run books
• Run regular game day exercises with product teams, helping them feel more prepared to investigate and quickly remediate incidents

• Lead high-impact, cross-functional projects across the Investments space.
• Architect, build, and scale brokerage trading and/or custody systems and processes.

• Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Mercury’s reconciliation platform, including the critical work required to support Mercury’s bank charter
• Partner deeply with engineers to understand how financial data moves through Mercury’s systems, including schemas, transformations, dependencies, and failure modes

• Build, validate, and deploy machine learning models to identify and prevent fraud in real time
• Support the reproducibility and robustness of said models through documentation, testing, and monitoring
