LQD is a technology based specialty finance company that uses LQD Matrix, our proprietary underwriting and risk management technology, to provide quick, convenient, and affordable business loans.

Small business borrowing demand (loans of $50k-2m) is approximately $1.8 trillion annually. Banks serve approximately $586 billion of this demand, while subprime alternative lenders and P2P lenders serve another $15 billion. The +$800 billion gap market, however, is largely underserved because there is not currently an efficient method for underwriting debt in this credit space. Capitalizing on the gap market requires a computationally sophisticated underwriting platform that can quickly and cost-effectively assess and underwrite lending risk across the broader range of credit cohorts.
