Jobs at LaunchTeam

Writing a book is hard, but marketing it is even harder. The biggest misconception about book publishing is that the publisher will market the book. That's not true. Spreading the word is up to the author, whether they self-publish or not. The best way to get the ball rolling is to cultivate a group of early adopters. LaunchTeam comes with tools to help authors mobilize their fans. It's easy to create a project page, discuss progress with the team, and get them involved during the creation process. Our founder, Jesse, spent upwards of $25,000 on his first book launch (ouch!). He later realized he could have spent less than $5,000 and achieved the same or better results. We've been studying the art of book-launching for years, and building relationships with the best designers, marketers, and editors in the business. Our curated library of resources includes marketing services, expert interviews, recommended books, free courses, and more. Jesse has written two #1 bestselling books. Prior to LaunchTeam, he cofounded a game company and helped grow it from zero to $10 million in revenues. He's also an alumni of Techstars. With serious startup experience and industry expertise in the fields of publishing and marketing, LaunchTeam is well-positioned to be the market leader in "the relationship economy" for authors and content creators. The company places huge value on culture. We use a remote-working model. We hire based on evidence of talent and cultural fit, not geographic location or degree. You can work where you want, when you want--as long as you deliver results. Work-life balance is a key element of the company's style and culture.
