"What's exciting about Lastmore is that we're not just improving packaging, we're rethinking what packaging is for. Most food packaging just contains a product; ours actively works to keep it fresh, tackling humidity, oxygen, and microbial growth at the source. Coming from a biotechnology background, I get to work at the intersection of real lab science and a problem every bakery and food producer actually feels, spoilage that eats into their margins every single day. We're early, still validating our technology through pilot testing, but that's part of what makes it a great place to build: everyone here is close to the actual product, not layers removed from it."
