The thing I'd tell anyone thinking about joining us: this is a small team where nobody is a pair of hands. Most marketing jobs hand you a channel and a target and ask you not to think too hard about why. We built Kando because we were tired of that. Every engagement starts with the business question — what does this company actually need to be true for it to grow? — and everyone in the room is expected to have a view on it, including the person who just joined. If you want to be told what to do, you'll find us uncomfortable. If you've been quietly frustrated that nobody asks you what you think, you'll like it here. We're small on purpose. That means you touch real strategy for real clients in your first month, not in your third year. It also means there's nowhere to hide, and the work is genuinely demanding. We're AI-enabled and human-directed, and we mean it in both directions. We build our own tools — we've published 38 free growth tools — and we expect people to automate the boring parts of their own job rather than grinding through them. What AI can't do is decide what matters. That's still the job. The part I'm proudest of is our transfer model: we build a client's growth engine, run it, and then hand it over so they can operate without us. It's a strange way to run a consultancy — we're actively trying to make ourselves unnecessary — but it forces us to do work that actually holds up, because someone else has to be able to run it after we leave. We work across the UAE, Kuwait and Lebanon, and the region is the point.
