The idea of JST began in early 2014, derived out of an industry leading New York City based quantitative hedge fund, managed by one of our founders. One of the largest cryptocurrency foundations approached the fund to support liquidity in their coin by market making on the blockchain. JST's founders saw enormous potential in this developing asset class, and sought to leverage their collective experience to create a best in class crypto business to facilitate the needs of institutions and high net-worth individuals. JST launched in January of 2018, in recognition of the global nature of the crypto market, and has opened offices in New York and Singapore while forming a strategic partnership with Arkonis Capital Limited, a FCA registered broker-dealer in the UK.
