Jobs at Hubble Network

• A Sense of Urgency: Lead projects from concept to reality, rapidly and effectively
• First Principles Engineering: Have a strong understanding of the whys behind the "what's"; have the ability to extrapolate from first principles to complex system design

• Architect and implement cutting-edge location estimation algorithms based on BLE and satellite data, including Kalman filters, Extended Kalman Filters (EKF), and Particle Filters.
• Optimize for computational efficiency, real-world performance, and cost — balancing precision with system constraints.

• Bachelor's Degree (Master's preferred) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline
• 10+ years of professional experience in antenna and RF design, including multiple antenna designs carried personally from concept through fabricated and characterized hardware

• Improve the accuracy and reliability of location estimation algorithms for BLE-to-satellite links — timing recovery, Doppler/frequency estimation, multilateration, and error correction
• Characterize and model dominant error sources (satellite ephemeris, oscillator drift, propagation effects, multipath, receiver noise) and prioritize which to attack first

• Own the transformation layer end-to-end: Defined models across Staging, Warehouse, and Mart. Star-schema design, SCD2, and data contracts enforced by tests at every layer.
• Build the data layer our internal tools run on: mart tables designed for specific operational workflows, sitting behind a generated internal metrics API. You own the mart and the API's performance characteristics; Engineering owns the framework and the frontend. Hold the line at p95 under 5 seconds on mart queries and under 500ms on metric endpoints.

• Bachelor's Degree (Master's preferred) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline
• 10+ years of experience in RF/hardware design, including 2+ years leading or managing engineering teams

• A sense of urgency — you move work from concept to reality, quickly and effectively.
• First-principles thinking — you understand the why behind the what, and can reason from fundamentals to complex system design.

Hubble Network was founded with the intention of delivering on the promise of what Internet-of-Things (IoT) was supposed to be. We're building a global Bluetooth® network dedicated to machine-to-machine connectivity.
