Culture overview

When we work together, there is as little as possible hierarchy between partners and associates in sharing the workload. If you can get the job done, you will have our blessing to do it, no matter your title or years of experience. The entire henQ team gathers each Monday to start the week with pitches of new potential investments (sourced in the week prior), as well as a discussion progress on specific deals that are in the pipeline. We end each week with a Friday meeting with the core deal team. That meeting includes both sourcing evaluation & improvement brainstorming, as well as some fun and games! During the Monday and Friday Meetings, you are expected to be the one to pitch interesting new investment opportunities on Monday, and to support the team with new sourcing (automation) ideas on Friday. henQ meetings tend to be frequent, but never too long: if you meet too much, you work too little. In between Monday Morning and Friday Afternoon, in our day-to-day work life that constitutes the majority of your work hours, the real work gets done. First calls and digging deep to find that next great investment opportunity contains some solitary time, but on everything else we work in smaller groups of two or three henQies and you will get plenty of time to learn from the people in our team.
