ViDe is teledentistry marketplace for consumers, dentists, specialists & enterprise to give & receive expert dental help via video & messaging consults simply by uploading selfie info via a smart device.

The plan is to apply facial recognition AI technology to the data being collected to automate the screening and assessment process further for simplicity, efficiency, cost reduction, accuracy and higher value consults with clinicians when needed.

There's also an important environmental sustainability piece to this project as healthcare generally and dentistry specifically is a huge producer of waste and plastics and poor biodegradables currently. Less in-person consults in favour of virtual consults also mean less disposable consumables used.
