Reboot by HealthTechApps, inc. (HTA) is an app that helps athletes, parents, trainers and physicians recognize, monitor and manage sports-related concussions.

For five years, the University of Hawaii (UH) Department of Kinesiology has assessed 10,000 high school athletics a year for a baseline concussion assessment. Of the 10,000 athletics profiled annually, more than 1,500 (15%) experience a sports-related concussion each year. Many concussions go undetected and unreported. Most go unmonitored during the critical 10-day period after injury resulting in catastrophic reinjuries.

HTA has partnered with UH Department of Kinesiology to disrupt this trend, by testing our Reboot prototype with 500 football and soccer starters in Fall 2015. We will extract all of the biofeedback data and self-reported athlete data to iterate the app for commercialization in December 2015.

Our go-to market strategy will be a Reboot app launch during the NFL Pro Bowl January 2016 in Honolulu, HI.
