Groupmuse careers

Groupmuse is a social network that directly connects classical musicians in the area to local residents so that the community can organically generate its own chamber music house parties, which we call groupmuses. The mission is to both bring back classical music from the margins of culture and to create abundant and convenient opportunties for communities to gather around something beautiful and profound. Since the first groupmuse in January, 2013, we've had 200 in Boston and have started in 9 other cities, with particular traction in San Francisco and New York City. While we have a number of revenue models, a couple of which have started bearing fruit, Groupmuse is as a much a social movement as it is a business. In Boston alone, we put on as many as 8 classical music concerts a week, and they all tend to be packed with young people who weren't previously listeners. Our growth rate is exponential and response has been rapturous.
