Galaxy (galaxyproject.org) is an open-source, world-leading bioinformatics tool integration platform with over 200,000 worldwide users. At Galactic Core (galactic-core.com), we are embarking on an exciting journey to commercialize Galaxy; the team leading this effort includes the founders and long-term contributors of the Galaxy project. Our mission is to democratize access to bioinformatics data analysis. You will be a part of this effort and be able to experience first hand the entire process of commercializing a mature product, helping decide its direction, as well as have the option of publishing your work for consumption by the wider research community. You may also learn some computational biology along the way.
