We (friends at frslabs) are an award-winning company specialising in identity verification and fraud prevention solutions. Established a decade ago in 2010, with Bangalore as our home, we proudly serve over 125 global customers, with over a million transactions flowing through our systems every month.
As a team, we try to keep things simple. We don’t follow rigid methodologies, exhaustive specs, ridiculous approval cycles or get-my-permission-first bosses. This is not to say that we do not have coding best practices, style guides, wikis or quality guides. We do, like every good company should.
We take our work seriously as clients put us on their critical path to success. And if we mess things up, it hurts them badly. Each of us understands that the best software is made through a flexible, iterative process, keeping the end-user in mind, with a keen eye for detail, and collaborating and keeping the team updated every step of the way.
We don’t crave for monthly appreciations or badges to motivate us. Instead, we crave the best in each of us to make a lasting impact. We strive for craftsmanship, the likes of beautiful prose, poem, music or art. We work hard to create an environment where good ideas are nurtured and rewarded (five patents pending is a testament to our innovation culture). We are pretty sure that if you look beyond the veneer of a gravity-defying salary, shiny office or fancy chairs, you will have a blast at frslabs in terms of intellectual stimulation and interesting work.
We are a healthy and profitable company and we value good old hard work over easy money. And that's one reason we are not venture funded and believe in our own creation, abilities and profits to succeed (just the way nature intended humans to work and succeed).
