I built Ember because of something I saw while traveling Southeast Asia after the Navy: the language barrier quietly decided who people got to know. Ember exists to take that wall down. Every message translates live across 100+ languages, every member is ID-verified, and people meet on a world map instead of inside a few-mile radius. What's great about working here is how direct the line is between your work and someone's life. A feature you ship this week can be the reason two people in different countries have their first real conversation. We're early, so the first people who join will own whole parts of the product, not tickets. I care about doing things well and being honest about what isn't working, and I'd rather hear "this is wrong" than polite agreement.
