Eloquent Labs is building virtual conversational agents for customer support, initially targeting ecommerce. Eloquent was founded by an experienced team out of the Stanford Natural Language Processing group and based on novel HCI research on on-the-job learning. Eloquent's virtual agent is able to hold complex contextual conversations with customers, while also knowing when to back off seamlessly to experienced agents when necessary. Eloquent's product is currently in alpha, and trusted by dozens of ecommerce companies to handle their support needs.
