Own component qualification for new parts, alternates, and changes, in coordination with design engineers, including qualification plans, test requirements, acceptance criteria, results review, and final approval
Review new part requests against design requirements and component risks, ensuring alignment with component selection standards, derating guidelines, and preferred parts strategies before production release.
Partner with design engineers on component selection, trade studies, and resolution of component related technical issues
Manage component part creation and release, including AML/AVL records and required component data and documentation within PLM
