Of the 400,000+ student-athletes that receive a partial or full athletic scholarship to play at the 23 sanctioned sports—only 2% are actively recruited—the other 98% have to “self-recruit” by reaching out to coaches themselves. The most efficient way to be "self-recruited" is through video. We were tired of seeing phenomenal athletic talent go to waste. Poor quality and poorly edited videos are far too common in athletic recruitment videos. We hear of collegiate coaches losing interest in an athlete simply because they couldn't suffer through the rough recruitment video. With little time, a collegiate coach's attention must be captured in the first few moments. A successful video must give them what they need to know and see in a short amount of time while standing out above the rest. This is why we started Double Take Recruitment Videos.
