By tuning algorithms to the user’s confirmation bias to generate higher ad revenue, social platforms end up becoming autocratic, divisive and destructive. With cribate we want to: 1. help users understand their biases, 2. allow for an interaction that is primarily driven by reason and empathy, not advertisements, and 3. build a company where profits are made by being beneficial to its users, not by harming them.
