About the Opportunity

We are looking for an exceptional hands-on engineering leader who has experienced the journey of building a technology product from the ground up.

This opportunity is particularly relevant for Technical Co-founders, former Startup Founders/Co-founders, startup CTOs, Founding Engineers, and early-stage Engineering Leaders who have personally built products before building teams around them.

We are deliberately not optimizing for a particular corporate title. We care much more about what you have personally built.

You may have started a company yourself, joined a startup when the engineering team was still small, built the first version of a product, hired the first few engineers, made early architecture decisions, operated production systems, and subsequently helped the product and organization scale.

We are looking for someone who has experienced a meaningful part of this journey firsthand:

Idea → MVP → Customers → Production → Scale

This is not a traditional people-management-heavy leadership role.

The person joining us will operate with the ownership and technical depth of a technical co-founder within an established product organization — setting technical direction, staying close to architecture and code, leading engineers, partnering with Product and Design, and personally stepping into difficult engineering problems when required.

You are likely to be a strong fit if you have:
Founded or co-founded a technology startup and personally led engineering.
Worked as a Technical Co-founder / CTO / Founding Engineer / early Engineering Leader.
Personally built meaningful parts of a product before scaling the engineering team.
Taken a product through 0→1, rather than only maintaining or managing an already mature platform.
Worked across multiple layers — frontend, backend, databases, infrastructure, cloud and production.
Hired and developed engineers while remaining technically hands-on.
Made architecture decisions under real constraints of time, people, capital and customer expectations.
Experienced both building quickly in the early days and improving architecture as the product scaled.

Previous founder experience is highly valued. Previous “Director” experience is not required.
