About the Role
- Location: Remote-first (United States)
- Type: Ideally Full-time
- Compensation: $100k-$140k on target earnings
- Reporting to: CEO
As a Business Development Representative, you’ll be responsible for:
Primary responsibility:
- managing the pipeline of deals (CRM) and reaching out on behalf of the founder to get next meetings set up
Secondary responsibliities:
- creating proposals and custom presentations for prospective clients
- watching recordings of sales calls to evaluate deal quality, next steps and extract insights to share with product and engineering
- generating new prospects by reaching out on behalf of the CEO
- creating sales intelligence data by measuring deal velocity, deal amounts, response rates etc
About You
You’re an ideal candidate for the Business Development Representative role if you:
- Have proven experience in a B2B sales or sales development role, preferably in the SaaS space in setting up meetings and managing sales pipelines (bonus points if you have experience selling to financial institutions)
- Are adept at managing and qualifying leads, with a track record of achieving or exceeding sales performance quotas.
- Are comfortable using CRM and sales engagement platforms, with a keen interest in leveraging technology to optimize sales processes.
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of explaining complex solutions in a clear and compelling way.
- Are a team player, able to collaborate effectively across functions to achieve common goals.
- Have a natural curiosity and a continuous improvement mindset, always looking for ways to enhance your skills and contribute to the team's success.
- Have the curiosity to understand a technology product in depth
