ColoWrap is a medical technology company committed to improving staff and patient safety during colonoscopy. The Company’s flagship product is its ColoWrap Anti-Looping Colonoscopy Compression Device, the first non-manual, non-invasive solution to address looping – the most common complication associated with the procedure. Looping occurs in up to 90% of colonoscopies and is the primary cause of patient pain, failed procedures, and perforations. In addition, the way that looping is typically addressed – by having endoscopy staff apply manual pressure to the patient’s abdomen – is a significant risk factor for staff and patient injury.
