Our mission is to democratize access to NFC, the fastest payment technology in history, ensuring its widespread adoption among the majority in developing countries. To achieve our mission, we have invented an affordable 20-dollar payment device called the Interactive Card. The Interactive Card has a touch screen that enables users to interact with it and is compact enough to fit in a wallet. What is unique about the Interactive Card is that it lets users make offline, peer-to-peer contactless payments in less than three seconds. The stated unique features of the Interactive Card make the payment device to be well-suited for developing markets where the POS terminal infrastructure is not well developed, the majority cannot afford a smartphone with NFC capability, most businesses are informal, and internet connectivity is not always reliable.
