BGI is an international accelerator, a partnership between MIT, ISCTE-IUL and Caixa Capital. Held once year, is directed at tech entrepreneurs, startups & spin-outs, working on Medical Technologies & Health IT, Smart cities & Industrial Tech, Enterprise IT & Smart Data and Ocean Economy. 20 teams receive expert training, access to bootcamps in Lisbon & MIT, investment sessions and MIT&BGI network of mentors.
