Bridge to College careers

Bridge to College is a social impact company that supports students and colleges in finding the best fit college. Colleges currently spend thousands of dollars to target the same over-resourced students to attend the same thirty colleges. By using relevant data, BtC is able to double the eligible application pool and work with the over 4000 colleges in the country.

The entire BtC team is composed of former teachers and education researchers with intimate knowledge of the education. Each team member also identifies with at least one under-served community; and the leadership team is all female. The algorithms and strategy for the company were built using the dissertations of the founder, Vielka Hoy, and her expertise in critical race theory, machine learning, and access to higher education, and Abbie Bates' work in college access, under-resourced communities, and school counseling.

Currently BtC is offering services to under-resourced high schools and low brand ID colleges.
