BounceIt careers

BounceIt is a media sharing social media app based around the six degrees of separation- the notion that you can be linked to anyone in six steps or less. Any time you send content to a friend on BounceIt, they can ‘Bounce’ this content on to their friends, who can bounce the content on to their friends and so on and so forth. Using GPS, we can track the path of this photo as it travels around the world. For example, you take a photo and send it to your friends in France and Spain, who bounce it to friends in Germany, Hong Kong and Peru. Without leaving the couch, your media has travelled around the world without you leaving the couch.
Tied in with this is gamification. Users can compete against their friends in live leaderboards, collect trophies to display on their profile and complete challenges to gain experience. We plan on having a huge amount of customisability- from themed profiles based on achievements to customisable maps based on distance travelled/ countries visited.
