People at Born Again Eco
Born Again Eco exists to turn waste into value. We upcycle discarded bottles into premium glassware and coconut wax candles — products designed to be giftable, reusable, and retail-ready. Where recycling usually melts glass at huge energy cost, our process avoids reblowing and cuts carbon emissions by up to 80%, giving every bottle a meaningful second life. This is not just a consumer brand — it’s a global collective. By partnering with artisans in India, Uganda, and beyond, we create sustainable livelihoods for communities that rarely gain fair access to Western markets. Through Amazon, Etsy, and eBay, we provide visibility, stability, and fair pay, while building a modern eco brand that compounds both profit and impact. We’re ready to launch: 100 SKUs queued, three hero sets finalised, packaging that passes a 6 ft drop test, and compliance (EPR, IFRA/CLP) in progress. Our go-to-market engine is Amazon FBA and Multi-Channel Fulfilment, giving us scalable reach into Etsy, eBay, and our own site without heavy overhead. From Month 3, candles join the range, with EU expansion piloted through Amazon Remote Fulfilment. I’m James Michaelson, founder and CEO. My background is sales and eCommerce execution: I previously grew a six-figure AV business from just £3k, securing a £50m eBay limit along the way. That same discipline and scrappy playbook now drive Born Again Eco — but this time with impact at the core. My strengths are sales and operations, and I’m building a team around marketing and creative growth. We’re raising £150k under SEIS to fuel the UK launch and prepare EU/US growth. For the right partners, this is an opportunity to help build the first scaled upcycled glassware and candle brand — a business with defensible economics, a clear Amazon wedge, and measurable social and environmental outcomes. Join us, and let’s make waste beautiful — and valuable — again.
