Boardera provides an online platform for ordering custom electronics.

Users start by uploading their design files. The platform analyzes the files and makes critical insights before providing an accurate 3D rendering. It then gathers details from the user as necessary to clarify their design intent/manufacturing specifications (layer assignment, materials, dimensions, etc.). A Design For Manufacturing (DFM) report is provided. If they would like Assembly, they can upload a Bill of Material (BOM) and Pick and Place file, which is analyzed. The platform will walk through any component sourcing challenges (based on real-time availability), and any missing details regarding part placement. The project is automatically priced and can be ordered. Upon order submission, an enriched design package is then used in manufacturing.
